Cosy Holidays in Barossa

The town of Barossa in South Australia offers the perfect vacation mix, whether you’re looking for a romantic retreat or a fun family getaway.

All Welcome

Surrounded by vineyards, Nuriootpa is home to some of the region’s best-known cellar doors including Penfolds, Elderton and Wolf Blass Visitor Centre. Dine in at one of the many eateries or enjoy a delicious picnic filled with local produce. Home to rolling-hills and breathtaking scenery, there are also an array of locations to relax and soak up the fresh country air, as well as community reserves and parks such as Coulthard and Tolley Reserves. Why not take a leisurely stroll along the Linear Path. If you have a green thumb, be sure to visit Barossa Bushgardens to see how you can use native Australian plants to create a stunning garden at home.

English Town

There is always a real buzz in the Angaston main street – cafés, cheese makers, wine bars, cellar doors, quaint antique stores and shops filled with local goods are just a few of the things that keep visitors coming back for more. Blond Coffee is a local hot-spot and visitors that must not be missed on your travels.  Known as the “English” or eastern end of the Barossa, Angaston. It has a terrific selection of accommodation options including bed and breakfasts (hosted / un-hosted). The South Australian Company Store provides visitors with a genuine regional experience, stocking a large range of Food Barossa products and sensational dining experiences.  Held every Saturday morning, the Barossa Farmers Market – located on the edge of town – is held every Saturday morning and is renowned for showcasing the real food produced in the homes and farms of the Barossa locals.
