Young NTUC’s upcoming CROSSROADS will feature Pamela Chng, Founder of Bettr Barista. This event will be apt for coffee lovers or aspiring entrepreneurs to join in this session as Pamela will share more about her life journey and how she is doing good by brewing good coffee.
Pamela has the brain for business, a heart for compassion and a nose for great coffee. She once co-owned a successful boutique web firm, but it came at the expense of her personal and social life and hence, took a step back. Sparked by her love for a good cuppa, she delved deeper into the coffee business and found a way to give back to the society.
She set up Bettr Barista to help transform underprivileged women and youths into skilled baristas so they can secure better work opportunities. But the training doesn’t stop there. The one-of-a-kind academy also provides students with emotional resilience and physical training, from self-improvement to sports and self-defence, to boost their confidence and self-esteem.
