Opened in July 2014, The Daily Cut was set up to provide the solution to all those people out there who seek the appropriate amount of proteins in their daily meals. Now gym goers and those who aim to keep fit can have a healthier alternative.
Food served at The Daily Cut is prepared using one of the most healthy cooking methods; grilling. From the menu, one can choose the amount of proteins they want and mix and match them with a variety of complex carbs, toppings and dressings.
Vegetarians can also go for vegan meals by opting proteins and carbohydrates such as tofu and romaine lettuce. A totally customised vegan meal is possible with the menu choices available.
On a typical weekday evening, you can expect a long queue at The Daily Cut as people flock down for dinner.
We were served with a beast size box consisting of 3 proteins, 3 complex carb, 4 toppings and 1 dressing. We had extra complex carbs and toppings compared to their usual serving.
There was chicken thigh, sirloin steak, turkey breast for proteins. As for the complex carbs, we had sweet potato, brown rice and whole grain pasta. Toppings included sous vide egg, cherry tomatoes, sweet corn and edamame beans and barbecue sauce which complimented really well with the meats was made available.
The colours of the ingredients in our box are very bright and appetising not to mention that it is certainly healthy. As for the meats, the sirloin steak was really good and is worth the extra one dollar.
We would recommend the average guy to get a large size box. If you have a big appetite, go for the beast serving.
