SEA Games Round Up of Gold Medals

The 28th SEA Games has commenced in Singapore last week, and we are roaring to go! The SEA games held in Singapore is indeed a bonding time for all Singaporeans as all of us cheer together for our athletes, providing moral support for them. At a recent prize-presentation ceremony, Singaporeans continued singing the national anthem with gusto when the speakers were faulty, which really shows the national spirit of Singapore!

Check out the video at 5:00! Well done Singapore citizens and our athletes!!! Haven’t been prouder to be a Singaporean citizen!

With a gold medal count currently at 51, our athletes are doing really well indeed! The sports which has contributed most to Singapore’s gold medal count are:

Canoeing, with seven golds!

Table tennis, with 6 gold medals!

As well as wushu taking home 6 gold medals for Singapore as well. Good job athletes!!!

How can we forget our beautiful synchronized swimmers who clinched one of Singapore’s first gold medals?

Also, Wang Wenying, 35, who won Singapore’s first fencing gold medal.

Good job to all the athletes in Singapore, for setting a new record for a total number of gold medals won at SEA Games for Singapore!
