Wine Golf Tour
This is one of the most interesting golf sessions you will ever play. Held at four of the most prestigious private golf courses in Australia, your game combines a time-honoured tradition of matching exquisite courses with fine wines from Four Reds. The courses include: Glenelg, Grange, Kooyonga and Royal Adelaide. At the end of each 18 holes, you’ll enjoy a bottle of specially paired premium wine along with a tasting plate sourced from the gourmet producers of South Australia. Four Reds offers holiday packages for three to six nights in Adelaide. And if your passion for fine wine rivals your enthusiasm for golf, Four Reds is also offering exclusive winery tours of the legendary Barossa.
First Shot Fun!
The Royal Adelaide Golf Club was founded in 1870 and is home to Adelaide’s premier PGA instruction for individuals and groups. Upon arrival, golfers participate in a thorough orientation including a video analysis of your golf game. High-speed video cameras capture your chipping, putting and full swing techniques. Those golf techniques are evaluated by our teaching pros, and then design your individual program for golf improvement. The club is ranked 5th in the Australian Top 100 Golf Courses by the Australian Golf Digest.
Hit the Ring!
At Kooyonga, five Australian Opens and three Australian Amateur Championships have been decided as well as numerous South Australian Opens and Amateur Championships. The par 72, 6160 metre layout of the Kooyonga Golf Course consists of narrow rolling fairways lined with rows of trees, with cleverly positioned bunkers framing the small and firm greens. The well protected greens are also aided by the subtle slopes and natural undulating surface of the course. The Kooyonga forms a testing yet fair challenge. The club is ranked 11th in the Australian Top 100 Golf Courses by the Australian Golf Digest
