The Find is a treasure

Tucked in the corner of Rochester Mall, The Find is a new addition to the quaint mall, few roads away from Buona Vista MRT. The Find brings you exquisite dining experience, serving up delicious yet simple European cuisine, specializing in French and Italian.

For starters, we had the Mushroom Soup (S$10) with Creme Fraiche and Garlic Croutons. The soup is thick and very rich, with some chunks of mushroom swimming in the creamy broth. It was so fragrant that we finished every drop of it.

For mains, we had the Slow Cooked Chicken Leg (S$18) with Potatoes and Vegetable Ragout. We loved how tender the meat is.. The accompanied Brussel Sprouts also made the dish for us, being crunchy and flavorful, soaked from the sauce.

Lobster Risotto (S$28) with Watercress and Sundried Tomatoes is one of our personal highlight of the restaurant. The risotto is light, creamy with a hint of seafood freshness. It is served up with rather generous portion of sweet and tender lobster meat.

Kurobuta Pork Chop (S$30) with Roasted Potatoes and Green Asparagus is perfect for pork lovers. The Kurobuta pork has great texture; tender and gracefully laced with fats. The dressing that came with it – mustard with whole grains, was exquisitely made. We loved the crunchy asparagus, giving some healthy vibes to the dish.

For desserts, we recommend the Chocolate Lava Cake (S$10) with Berries Compote and Whipped Cream. Vanilla lovers will rejoice; the house-made ice cream was smooth, albeit too strong on the vanilla pods for us. The chocolate is not too sweet, and often drawing us back for more because of the dark richness.

Serving up classy and reasonably-priced European cuisines, The Find makes a brilliant place for familial or friends’ gathering, supported by the serene ambience. For the price you pay for the service and food you receive, The Find is a treasure.
