I must say that the food scene in Singapore is quite vibrant and exciting at times.
Most buffet in Singapore now comes with the charge on food wastage, typically at $5 per 100 grams. This monetary disincentive is quite effective in combating food wastage. In the recent news, a woman actually argued with the staffs of a restaurant on the food wastage charges that she had to fork out for. You may read more here.
