Asia’s definitive dance music festival ZoukOut, is set to bring its iconic Mambo Jambo series back to the beach with the Mambo Jambo Beach Party. Programmed to evoke a sense of nostalgia by bridging the past and present, the party is an all-ages event lined back-to-back with the iconic Mambo Jambo and 90s throwback, Total Recall.
Intended for Zouk pioneers and fans of retro classics, the night presents a musical journey through the ages with golden 80s hits (Mambo Jambo) and guilty pop pleasures from the teenage years (Total Recall). Fronted by local veterans and a line-up of respective Zouk alumni behind each era, Tony Tay, Brendon P and Leonard will be making their comeback at ZoukOut on the Mambo Jambo deck alongside Zouk’s legendary resident, Jeremy Boon and the duo of Lincey and The Dinosaur for Total Recall.
Held at AJ Hackett Sentosa, the event ground is staged to deliver a family-friendly beach party with the iconic Mambo Jambo podiums set to also feature. Led by Mambo Jambo enthusiasts, those unfamiliar with the moves can always look to their guidance and join in the fun. As part of the throwback tribute, there will also be a Mambo Jambo Dance Off competition for the experts to flaunt their moves and win Moët & Chandon bottles to celebrate. For the ones who are just looking to have an early ZoukOut session by or in the sea, there will be spots to soak up the sea breeze with hang-outs within the AJ Hackett space and the GUESS lounge.
The first 250 attendees can also drop by the Swatch booth to nab a complimentary customized Mambo Jambo drawstring bag. The Mambo Jambo Beach Party takes place between 4:00pm – 9:00pm on 1 December2018 at AJ Hackett, Siloso Beach, Sentosa, which is also located next to the main ZoukOut grounds.
Limited tickets to the Mambo Jambo Beach Party are now on sale from $55 per adult (Mambo Jambo Only). All ZoukOut ticket holders are entitled to complimentary access to the party.
